Sporting Event Directions/Maps

HGBA currently has separate sporting event fields. Please refer to the sporting event for directions/map to that location.

Softball (Holy Ground's Softball Field):
Route #1
Take I-20 west to Villa Rica (Hwy 61).
Turn left onto Hwy 61 and go south into Carrollton. Turn left onto the Carrollton Bypass.
Continue on the bypass until you get to US-27.
Turn left onto US-27 and travel south to Roopville/GA-5.
Turn right onto GA-5 and go straight through the round-a-bout. The ball field will be 1/4 mile on the right.

Route #2
Take GA-5 from Douglasville south until you reach US-27 and Roopville.
Go straight across US-27 through the round-a-bout.
The ball field will be 1/4 mile on the right.

Baseball and Football (Holy Ground's Fields)
Our address is 86 Victory Lane Roopville, GA 30170

Route #1
Take I-20 west to Villa Rica (GA-61).
Turn left onto GA-61 and go south into Carrollton.
Turn left onto the Carrollton Bypass.
Continue on the bypass until you get to US-27 exit.
Turn left onto US-27 and travel south to Roopville/GA-5.
Turn right onto GA-5 and go about 200 yards and turn left again onto old US-27.
Victory lane is about 1/4 mile ahead on the left.
Turn left onto Victory lane and the ball field is at the dead end.

Route #2
Take GA- 5 from Douglasville south until you reach Roopville/US-27.
Go straight across US-27 and go about 200 yards and turn left again onto old US-27.
Victory lane is about 1/4 mile ahead on the left.
Turn left onto Victory lane and the ball field is at the dead end.

Basketball (Holy Ground's Gym Building)
Basketball is played at the Holy Ground Baptist Academy Gym facility.

Route #1
Take I-20 west to Villa Rica (GA-61).
Turn left onto GA-61 and go south into Carrollton.
Turn left onto the Carrollton Bypass.
Continue on the bypass until you get to US-27.
Turn left onto US-27 and travel south on GA-1/S Park St/US-27 - Approx. 7 miles
(You will see church/academy on left from US-27)
Turn left onto Hester Rd 233 ft
Take the 1st right onto Shirey Dairy Rd
Destination will be on the right 285 ft

Route #2
Take GA- 5 from Douglasville south until you reach Roopville/US-27.
Turn right onto N GA-1/US-27
Go Approx 3 miles to Hester Rd
Turn right at Hester Rd 200 ft
Take the 1st right onto Shirey Dairy Rd
Destination will be on the right 285 ft

Football (Carroll County Park's Field)
1201 Newnan Road Carrollton, GA 30116

Route #1
Take I-20 west to Villa Rica (GA-61).
Turn left onto GA-61 and go south into Carrollton.
Turn left onto the Carrollton Bypass.
Continue on the bypass until you get to Newnan Road (GA-16/Alternate US-27).
Turn left onto Newnan Road (GA-16/Alternate US-27) and travel south 1/3 mile.
Turn right at 1201 Newnan Road (Carroll County Park's Field)

Route #2
Take GA- 5 from Douglasville south until you reach Whitesburg (GA-16/Alternate US-27) about 20.7 miles.
Turn right onto GA-16/Alternate US-27
Go approximately 9.5miles.
Turn left at 1201 Newnan Road (Carroll County Park's Field)
